New Floodplain Maps

April 21st, 2006 — 8:18am

Find out if you will be in a floodplain according to the preliminary, updated floodplain maps from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Some properties will no longer be in a floodplain and some will be new to one. These new maps and models for Austin and Travis County are now available for public comment through July 2006.

For the first time, these maps are also available in digital format. View them on-line at the City of Austin Watershed Protection department.
